Debbie Yohn and
Laurel Stiff have worked at Shock Trauma since 1984 with an
expertise in Prevention Programs. In 1992, they developed and
implemented the Adult Trauma Prevention Program at Shock
Trauma to provide services to offenders from a select county.
Outreach grew and to date, over 5,000 adults have participated
in this program. In 1997, Debbie and Laurel started PADDD, a
501c3 corporation, separate from Shock Trauma, to meet
community needs. PADDD works with R Adams Cowley Shock Trauma
Center and the Charles McC. Mathias, Jr., National Study
Center for Trauma & EMS. To date, referrals to PADDD have come
from Anne Arundel, Carroll, Howard, Harford, Cecil, Calvert,
and Baltimore Counties. |

BIOS
Debbie Yohn, CPP (Certified Prevention Professional),
is a lively and proficient motivational speaker. She
speaks clearly in a simple yet empowering reminder of
why safe driving practices are so important.
Debbie takes the time to understand clients' needs and
tailors the content and style to fit their
requirements. She has taught repeatedly for Comcast,
BG&E, local high schools,
colleges and universities.
She has provided presentations for the US Military and
the MHSO (Maryland Highway Safety Office). Debbie
captures the attention of young and old audiences with
participation in high school assemblies, adult
presentations, radio and TV interviews.
Laurel Stiff, CPP
(Certified Prevention Professional), has taught
college and is an inspired motivational speaker with a
great deal of energy. She presents prevention techniques
with tremendous enthusiasm and genuine sincerity. Laurel
inspires audiences to accept responsibility for
their choices and to change their actions. She is a sought
after speaker for the US Military, colleges and
universities, Juvenile Justice Divisions, and various
county agencies. She is on the speakers bureau for MHSO
(Maryland Highway Safety Office) and has taught at
Comcast , BG&E and assisted in mock crashes.
