"Shock Trauma Perspective of Impaired and
Reckless Driving"
Experienced Trauma Nurses talk about what they see every day at Shock
Trauma. They bring the imagery to life through a Shock Trauma-produced
video featuring live footage as well as slides and actual Trauma
equipment demonstrations.
"Victims' Perspective of Dangerous Driving"
The victims' perspective is brought to life through true stories from a
MD State Police Aviation Division Paramedic; a local funeral home
director; and patients' families or a recovered Shock Trauma patient,
who was an impaired or speeding driver and is now permanently disabled.
"Positive Driving Strategies"
Strategies are offered and discussed to prevent reckless and impaired
driving. Time is allowed for questions and answers.
